Matthis, once a wise and ambitious being, has one year left to live. He embarked on a quest to find life in its purest form, but it came at a cost. The universe, once caring, misguided Matthis, knowing the price to pay for life in its purest form. Matthis spent his life surrounded by wealth and fame, but he gave away his immortality. The universe watched over him and his actions, dissatisfied with his actions. Matthis built a city and refused to help anyone he saw as unfit to be in his society. The universe tried to lead him away from life, but Matthis found it. The universe allowed him to find life, knowing it was not her duty to protect her creations from danger. Matthis spent his entire life trying to find pure life, but he never did anything meaningful to the world.
