It's 1967 and it's been decades since Tommy Shelby handed off his enterprises to his two sons. On one side, Charles Shelby manages Shelby Co. LTD; the legitimate business built by his father, which presently specializes in precision machining on one hand and importing exclusive goods from the United States on the other. He tries his best to keep the front of the company legitimate, but there's one problem.
His half brother, Erasmus "Duke" Shelby was given charge over the Peaky Blinders at around the same time as Charles was given reign over the company, and he's constantly finding ways to exploit the resources of the company to serve the rackets of the criminal syndicate. Bet booking, illegal casinos, car theft, smuggling, they do it all.
