The tale of Estavir is a metaphorical dive into my burned out mind as he searches for deeper meaning and climbs Mt. Sensan-Ghi filled with trials to test his heart. This is my first published work of fiction. It was conceptualised during a burnout I experienced back in 2017. With support from family, friends and a professional with whom to talk, I tried working through the burnout over the period of a year. At each stage of my journey I created a story to help me process. It's bizarre, a bit dark slightly existential and close to my heart. Please enjoy.

These tales of loneliness, isolation, longing, grief; bittersweet love and hope; perseverance and care are like feelings buried beneath the ocean of tears and of water lapping across the shoreline in the quietness of the setting sun soon turning into night that reveals the darkness that we hide within ourselves. I began a garden, cut most of my ties to the outside world, and wrote this as a way to keep me going through most of my days. When I wrote, I felt like this magical sense was taking over me and the words were just flowing out. I have not edited them, because I wanted to keep them as true to the feelings I had then as possible. It was truly a beautiful, transformative time of realizations for me.
