She's perfect and she's everything that I'm not. And I hate her so much that I love her. Or is it just exactly the opposite? If you hopefully wonder what this is, I should probably start with saying that it isn't a love story, not exactly. This book is a one shot (or possibly two shots) story about, I guess, the female experience. It's about flaws and what insecurities can do to you, how can they make you feel, how can you actively ruin your relationships but feeling like you're unable to stop it. And it's about the toxicity that we women are brought up in, how we compare each other, and how hurtful that is. And it's about humanising not only the comparer, but the compared too. And lastly, it may be about the common meme of the everlasting lesbian/bi experience of "do I want to be her or do I want to be with her" which we all experience way too much in our lives. Vaguely inspired by the song "That girl" by Emei that I causally heard on Instagram. All Rights Reserved
