The Five's legend

Realization stabbed me to the stomach: I got chosen.
I read a hundred books on that matter, and it wasn't the first time i attended a New Season either, but nothing would ever had prepared to the feeling washing over me. The Goddess Anabi had chosen me! I tried to go join our Dean and other rulers when another lighting struck.
Everything got silent, nothing was moving. All around, the kingdoms of Arnovia united in their astonishment.
There was another one, and one again. In total, four of them, one for each of the populations.
A shiver crept up my spine as predictions were rosing from the audience, whispers of bad omens.
Has this happened before? I didn't understand any of it but one thing was certain: a tremendous adventure was awaiting for us.
