I could give you a sob story about how tough Cressida Lynn's life has been, but you're not here for that. You're not here to hear about how terrible her mother treated her and how she only got her first birthday present at age nine or how no one outside her cabin liked her. No. You're here to hear about how her life changed the summer of her 12th birthday. The summer when Poseidon's son came crashing through the camp borders after he'd killed the Minotaur. You're here to hear about how they found the Lightning Thief. You're here to hear about how they ventured through the Sea of Monsters. You're here to hear about how they withstood the Titan's Curse. You're here to hear about how they fought in the Battle of the Labyrinth. You're here to hear about how they defended the Last Olympian. However, I must warn you that this journey is not for the faint-hearted for each quest is more treacherous than the last. And it is most certainly not for mortals. But, should you find yourself feeling brave, should you be a demigod in a past life, a present life or a future one, then I invite you to join me on this adventure. #1 in hades #1 in greekgodsandgoddesses #1 in lukecastellan #1 in titanwar #1 in dionysus #1 in pjofandom #4 in zeus #4 in seaofmonsters #9 in kronos #10 in labyrinth #12 in percyjacksonandtheolympians #17 in greekmythology #23 in annabethchase #36 in poseidon (Lightning Thief - Last Olympian) (Disclaimer: All rights go to the legendary Rick Riordan, I only own Cressida and any original scenes and dialogue I've written.) "I did try to ask nicely and multiple times, I might add. The time for being nice has come to an end since it doesn't seem to work with you." He passed by the table and stepped down. There weren't many places for her to hide in here but the creature did tell him Amelia came into this room. "Please come out and talk to me." He waited a beat for a response but he didn't get one. "Fine, let me tell you a story. I used to be able to see the creatures clearly but an accident happened when I was younger that damaged one of my eyes. Now they're just blurry to me. But you . . . you can see them clearly and see rare objects. I want you to join me. Be my eyes." He waited again for a few moments for a response he still didn't receive. A thought occurred to him. What if she was hoping that he'd just leave the room? He chuckled quietly to himself in amusement. "I'm not going anywhere. But you know what? It's fine if you decline my offer again. Just know that if you don't come with me, you could come home to find that your parents are dead because of a work accident or some other natural cause. You wouldn't want that would you?" He paused just one more time and began speaking again. "If you come with me today, your parents won't have to die. I can keep them safe. If you don't give me an answer, I'll have my creature kill your parents now and I'll still take you. Do you want dead parents or living parents? It's your choice." Amelia came out of the bay window seat compartment. She was trying to hide her fear and anger. She didn't care what happened to her but she didn't want her parents to die because of her. She took a deep breath. "Fine . . . I'll come with you." He smiled smugly, "Smart choice. There's no need to be afraid of me. Your parents are safe now and I won't hurt you." "It's because you need me for my abilities." She said more of a fact than a question. She knew he wouldn't kill her because he needed her. "Correct. Now, let's tell your parents the good news."

The Moirai smiled, not saying a thing about his thoughts. "Do you accept, Ocean Child?" "Will I be alone in this quest? Will I face my demons alone?" "No" The middle lady said "You shall have company to help, although it will not be the company you expect" Percy frowned, that made sense, but, what kind of company he didn't expect? Maybe gods? Or his parents? "What is your answer, Child?" The smell of old, thread and forgotten got stronger as Percy thought. "I accept this quest" And his vision turned black.
