A Crown of Ash and Roses ~Year 1

In shadow's cradle, where light fades thin,
A child shall rise, born of flame and sin.
Neither bound by light nor claimed by night,
Her path shall weave the fractured right.

By ancient lore, her will is cast,
A crown of stars, a soul steadfast.
The serpent falters, the phoenix falls,
Her hand shall break their crumbling walls.

Betrayer's throne and tyrant's guise,
Both shall yield to her stormlit skies.
The darkened queen with a silver flame,
The world shall bow, yet curse her name.

Through veils of truth, where shadows play,
She carves the dawn from shades of grey.
Her power whispers, her steps unseen,
A sovereign born where none had been.

Yet hearts will fear, and bonds will fray,
The price she pays none can allay.
Through blood and tears, through fire and steel,
Her purpose bound, her fate revealed.

The fates shall turn where she will tread,
The past undone, the future read.
For neither tyrant nor savior true,
She'll shape the world anew, unviewed.

The serpent's bane, the phoenix's plight,
Their ruin born of her shadowed light.
And when the hour of reckoning calls,
The world shall rise, though heaven falls.
