Casey James, a third-year bioscience graduate student, has her double life down to a science: pipetting by day, pole dancing by night, with neither world bleeding into the other. But both lives have lost their spark, and she's starting to crack under the monotony of it all.

When brilliant new faculty member Dr. Zach Morgan arrives with his dangerous dimples and infectious passion for science, he awakens something in Casey that she thought had died in the sterile lab environment: genuine curiosity.
