I'm here to share my personal story about the time I met Jesus Christ. That encounter changed my life completely. Before that, I never had a real relationship with Jesus, my personal Savior. I didn't know Him, but He knew me even before He created me in my mother's womb. My life was really difficult-I was homeless, deaf, and unemployed after leaving the California School for the Deaf at 19 years old. I'll explain more later because I don't want to spoil my story for you. As you can see, I love Bible comic art. I drew this picture myself, though I'm not very good at drawing. The reason I created a comic about Jesus Christ versus Lucifer is because I wanted to share that story-not just about me, but about all of us in Christ alone. I have experienced a supernatural, divine intervention from God.

It seems like just yesterday I was saved. Not knowing what to do next or where I should go. Little by little I had to find my way and put together the lessons I was taught from different sources to seemingly lead a holy life. My supreme happiness came from when I found Jesus. Little did I know all I had to do was dwell in his heart and he would provide me with the wisdom I need and show me the things I could only fantasize about. Things like these seemed to me too precious to keep hidden, and that's when I knew I just had to share Who He is to the whole world. I learn as I go where writing a book is concerned. So the book has a lot of flaws, typos and words may not be in the correct order. It may be a finished book but there is still lots of work to do on it. I feel I should offer a disclaimer; this will not be a book of pretty words and flowing writing. It might even have an odd format with short stories, prayers, poems, journal entries, and autobiographical tendencies. There will be raw bits of unfiltered emotion because I have always been a very emotionally driven person prone to over-sharing. This isn't a tutorial or a teaching manual, or a guide to Christianity. It is my personal journey in discovering The Way. My ongoing path from religion to having a personal relationship with the Living God. The idea for Letters to God has been with me for years. At first, as a blog post, but that didn't appeal to me as much, for my heart has always leaned toward writing books. Then I tried sharing parts of it as short stories, but that didn't sit well with me either. Subconsciously, I've been working on this for years. Of late, the Holy Spirit keeps putting the title in my head, and I've finally gotten the message.
