She's pretty sure the woman was embezzling money that was supposed to keep the place running, but she's going to have to delve deeper into the books to find out how she did it. And if that wasn't going to keep her busy enough, a strange man with a strange connection to the orphanage has shown up on her doorstep and won't go away.
