Heads up: this is old and quite frankly embarrassing to have on my account. The only chapter that might even be worth reading would be the last one, but even then, it's still very cring-worthy. After Dostoyevesky's death having Dazai nearly witnessing the death of all of his friends, he finally has an actual change in heart. Despite that, he's plagued with horrid nightmares of everyone dying and all because of him. As always he can't seem to get away from Chuuya either with him being the focal point of every nightmare and it did have an impact on him. Dazai realises he in fact holds strong feelings for the short ginger man. Naturally, of course when one side of double black changes so does the other. All this while trying to deal with 7 missing people and 6 missing families is a lot to juggle. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings, or when the victim dies. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love and memories also disappear. The symptoms of the disease are summarized to strong pain, having flowers blooming in the heart and lungs, and then throwing them up. The disease begins with coughing up a few petals and growing in intensity (and pain) until the victim is vomiting entire flowers, by which point the disease has entered its final stages...
