After a brutal divorce and a tumultuous year, twenty-seven year old Remy Estera suddenly decided to spend an entire summer in Italy all on his own, at least he thought it would be. However, the night he arrived, he was approached by a man named Jay who suggested to be pretentious lovers for the duration of their summer vacation, without it any strings attached.

Remy thought he would be able to follow through, but by the end of summer, he was deeply infatuated by this stranger that he was convinced they were soulmate. They spent their days touring the city together, sharing food, caressing their naked bodies and making love as if they had been lovers in another life. Until one morning, Remy woke up and Jay had vanished, no trace of him left.
