The Defenders
In the fantasy land of Ora, there are four species: animals, dinosaurs, hoomans, and beasts. For years, the dinosaurs have been plagued by a great dinosaur war since the king died. Two brothers, Thunder and Rascar, have been getting at it to see who can get the throne. But their fighting is short-lived. At the peak of the war, a group of dinosaurs (and some animals) called the Watchers, led by a vicious Indoraptor named Ripper, have risen and stopped the war... by creating another one, this time affecting the entire land. "General Windu assigned a Jedi to us for this mission," Hunter stated. "Oh, how fabulous." Crosshair grumbled. "Do we know anything about this Jedi?" Tech inquired. "No," Hunter replied. "So we won't be able to blow anything up?" Wrecker asked sadly. "Oh, you'll be able to blow something up." Fives grinned as he walked up to them. "And how do you know that?" Tech questioned just as a shuttle zoomed onto the landing deck. The ramp to the shuttle lowered and the famous Jedi general Mace Windu walked down the ramp beside another Jedi in bronze armor. Lighting flashed across the sky as the rain poured down upon the two Jedi. "That Is Jedi General Celine Kryze and she is far from the normal Jedi." Fives nodded as he walked away. The sound of metal clanking against mental as the Jedi approached. "Master Kryze this is the squad I was telling you about." General Windu nodded. "I see, you must be the sergeant of this squad," Celine confirmed. At a very young life, Celine Kryze vowed to live by the Jedi code, but that changes when she meets a small boy from a desert planet named Anakin Skywalker. As time goes on she learns to love and supports her little brother. However, her peaceful life on Coruscant was quickly interrupted by the start of the Clone Wars. Padawan Aesaedii "Saedii" Synn has lost a lot to the Empire. A year ago, she lost her master and her best friend. Nine months ago, she lost her arm. Now, she worries that she will soon lose her new family: Clone Force 99, aka the Bad Batch. In the midst of a rising Clone Rebellion, Inquisitors hunt Jedi survivors. Rumors swirl of a new Sith Lord quickly rising in power. Clones are being killed off and replaced with new Imperial soldiers. Basically, book that I talk about some notes that I need to mention, or put some ideas and scenarios I come up with, and maybe use them in the future.
The Bad Batch: Tech and Vel
During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech.
