I watched him leave me shattered the way he wanted. Shutting the door with a loud bang his expensive Testoni shoes made fading sounds to let me know his departure. The departure was required more than his arrival.

I watched the door with blurred vision and a huge pain in my chest. It was not because he pushed me hard on the floor but it was of his hurtful words. Those words never left my mind because I didn't know how to do that.
