'Time walks in a straight line, as far as I know. God, I could be wrong - maybe in a century or two this will be invalid, and science was never my thing. I mean to say, we were caught in the crossfire of time and its assistant - timing. We got unlucky. And I guess that's it. Time has no ears; time has no eyes. What happens happens. I don't want to be away from you, but it looks like time came in two fragments and we're getting whisked away in different directions.'

Four people, along with their dysfunctional backgrounds, are strung together through pure coincidence and begin to find a home amongst minds that are as damaged as their own.

It all starts with a rainy day. Perhaps it'll be sunny by the end.
