The Pairing Test

102 years later a deadly virus swept across the globe creating a divide between the immune and the diseased. In the wake of the epidemic, The Haven was created by the founding families as a means to save what was left of humanity. Those who were immune were allowed to live in 8 different sectors in major cities throughout what was once known as the United States.

Cassandra, now 18, is approaching the most pivotal moment of her life as her exam results will determine what occupation she'll have and the Pairing Test will determine who she spends the rest of her life with. Leaving your paired match is forbidden and having relations outside of your marriage is prohibited. In The Haven, test scores determine everything and your Pairing Test results prove there was never anyone made so perfectly for you. However, when Cassandra never receives a match from her Pairing Test she discovers the dark truths about The Haven and her not so idealistic home.
