"Maybe." I responded just as quiet, "Or maybe they've mistaken their so called fate for destiny. Perhaps you just need to discover the difference between the two."
He rolled in the grass turning to look at me. I copied his actions our faces no more than inches apart.
"You are my destiny, Keanu Amos." He whispered, his breath warm against my face.
"And you, are mine, Cirian Blake."
Our lips met, sealing the unspoken promise between us. He was the destiny I had succumbed to, and I was his fate he hoped the Gods were in favor of.
