Without you

One morning I woke up to my mom shouting "happy birthday!" and she told me with a low voice almost whispering " hurry up and get dressed for school", so after she left my room slightly cracking my door, I stood up, looked for some pants to wear as I slowly closed the rest of the door and cut on my phone. I then decided after I put on my outfit for school to go get something to eat. as I slowly jogged my way to the kitchen, shortly after I opens my door, my sister comes out of her room and says with a low voice "morning turd" I looked at her like she was crazy and said sarcasrically " stop looking in the mirror " then jogged the rest of the way to the kitchen, after I had grabbed a bowl from the cabinet, I look at my mom and ask with a low voice "why is everyone so quiet?", she looks at me and said "you're dad is asleep in his room" I think in my head, why isn't he at work?, shortly after I pull a black plastic bowl out of the cabinet and grab the fruity pebbles off the bar.
