14 year old Max Baxley is the weakest Elementalist in the family. His father is the strongest Warlock in the World.  He is considered a weakling as he tried to get into the academy of Elementalists, but was denied on three different occasions. The third time, he got into a big fight with his Dad. As a result, he left home to take a walk. As he was going through the outskirts of town,  a sword covered in a dark glow   was headed for his direction.

He goes unconscious  at the sight  of the sword.
