Vernanda and Circruico learn to co-exist, they work together to defeat the world.
(I will make a better cover later) This takes place in 1980, only 100 years or so after the start of Raven's Roost. Vernanda is the great grandaughter of Ruby and her great aunt Mellisa invented modern prosthetics and her grandchildren run the local mechanics shop.
Disclaimer: A lot of details will change in the official version of this book that I will publish. I don't exactly want Vernanda to drive race cars, I want her to compete in motorbike races. And then the relationships of the peoples I'll switch around probably.
It's just, I may or may not be basing a lot of minor details on the life of someone I know, I don't want the world to think their life is horrble. She enjoys her life, and she is far from insane.

What if humans lived alongside witches, vampires, fey, and werewolves? Yeah, they don't though. They're divided into Factiones (no, that isn't a typo, go away Grammarly) by a starburst mountain range that is actually new, relative to the rest of the geology. Then someone dies. Of course. Not original is it? I suppose there's a good reason it always starts with someone dying. Well, being murdered in this particular case. I know, also not very original. But please, bear with me. Basically, the people in power are insane and dangerous. (There are really too many clichΓ©s here, aren't there?) And our not-so-normal band of motley heroes have to stop these crazy people. I understand that this is more or less the same plot line as 17% (minimum) of all books on the planet, but seriously, if you want to have a 12-year-old (almost) burn down/melt half a castle, this is your book.
