When Amelia Maguire meets Drew Chadwick on holidays in Huntington beach, they both immediately fall deeply in love with each other. The thing is Amelia is only there for two weeks and then she has to return home to Ireland, also to audition for the x factor. When Amelia's father finds out what they done, he immediately separates them causing complete and utter heartbreak to both of them. 


Amelia auditions for x factor as a solo artist, causing all the judges to adore her, and her god given, angelic voice. But when someone makes a mistake with letting her through to the live shows, Simon has no choice but to put her in a band the five boys, later to be called One Direction.


After coming third in the x factor the band went on to become one of the biggest, most successful bands in the world. When Simon opens the x factor in the USA, One Direction perform in the second season, this is where Drew's band Emblem3 are contestants.
