A blue hedgehog-devil... or devilhog... named Sonic has been living in Windmill Village with his friends Knucks and Tails, even after his caretaker, Uncle Chuck, died of sickness. He lived a normal life there, helping others in the village as he did so. Little did he know, he was a weapon that the government wanted to use.
In the darkness, a black hedgehog was stalking Sonic, watching his every move and preparing to defend him in any way. This hedgehog is known as Shadow, another experiment who escaped years ago. Why was he protecting him?
This story includes (Or will include) Sonadow and Sonamy scenes, along with multiple blood and gore triggers. \\ Please do not say anything rude about this story. This is my first time publishing one! ❤️

This is mostly for my beta reader, enjoy bestie 🙏 For anyone else, I've realized it got more reads than I expected so here's a real summary; It's true, and they all know it: Sonic has been acting off. But why? What happened? As far as they recall, it's been business as usual, but still they find Sonic just isn't himself. When even Shadow finds his way to them to question the hedgehog's strange behavior, a single word might finally give Sonic a reason to let his walls down: "crystals." By why? What is it about these crystals? And why has Sonic been so paranoid..? It's time to find out.

Once again Sonic is criticized by Hedgehog Village. Though he was voted to be banished (due to the fact that he hurt Eggman for real). Even his own friends agreed to banish him. Though by the time he was needed again due to the fact that Eggman had them all fooled and a few hedgehogs were reported missing, they realized something happened to him. Though when they found him, he was in a trance (assuming he was sick). Knuckles 'who felt bad' watched over him but unfortunately, he turned his back and Sonic went missing. Everyone was sent on a frantic search. The team entered a beautiful fancy village named Transtopia (owned and lead by (Sonics other old flame) Serena and Camilla) There Knuckles meets their beautiful protector. A blue hedgehog (that bored little resemblance to Queen Aleena) named Shayera Blue Star. Though she looked familiar to Knuckles. This protector was a real fighter. He held the book against his chest as if his life depended on it. He had promised, he wouldn't let go of it. His breath was heavy and ragged, the smoke filling his lungs intrusively. Green eyes snapped everywhere, looking desperately for an exit. He jumped when his back met the thick wall behind him, his eyes landing on the awful smoky creature. Each step it took made a sloppy sound that made the blue hedgehog cringing. Sonic was screwed. He tightly shut his eyes as he saw the creature jumping towards him, protecting the book instinctively. But when he thoughts that he would hear his own scream, his ears perked up at the sound of an audible squeak and a grunt. He peeked one eye out, seeing only smoke from where the monster was a second ago. Sonic's eyes widened and he looked around immediately, his hands slightly shaking. As he looked up at a roof, he noticed a silhouette, standing there, a giant smoky scythe resting over his shoulder. His crimson red eyes locked onto green emerald ones. "Pathetic." the figure said, making a shiver run up Sonic's spine."
