While on Earth they find Ezra and Leon, two Angels that fight demons that cause issues on Earth. Leon's the type that only wants to stop bad demons. Ezra, on the other hand, battles a deep-rooted hatred for demons of all kinds and motives. Ezra is Amara's soulmate. Another difficult path to navigate.

Amara's life was turned upside when she was framed, but can she figure out a way to turn it back? Can she change Ezra's viewpoint of demons, or will they never get along? And will Amara be able to prove her innocence, or is she doomed to a fate worse than death?
