Asher and Rhys have been inseparable since they became neighbours as kids, now they've graduated high school and are even going to the same university.

Rhys always imagined his future by Asher's side, and he thought he felt the same, that is until Asher starts to avoid him once they start university.

Asher has grown up with Rhys and always thought they'd grow old together too, but they're not little kids anymore and he's starting to realise there's a big difference between "best friends forever" and "until death do us part".

As he switches between repressing and exploring these new feelings he doesn't know how to face Rhys anymore, however he grows close with someone unexpected: Theodore, Rhys' older brother.

Maybe it's because they were never close, Asher is able to open up to him about his struggle which in response Theodore reveals he's not so straight either and offers to be his support in unfamiliar emotional territory. But Asher's ever-growing adoration for Rhys seems like more than a petty crush, and keeping it a secret is making him feel more alone than ever.

Who will he put his trust in when his past and future happiness seem dependent on secrecy?
