At a secluded temple dedicated to the goddess Ioerenia, cleric-in-training Rina has dedicated the last 23 years of her life to becoming an official member of the Temple's ranks. That proves to be easier said than done when Rina discovers she is not blessed with the magic that flows through the others, and will likely fail the initiation Test. Before long she is forced to make a life altering decision when she finds out the penalty for failure - is death.

An escapee fleeing execution, she unknowingly entangles herself in the early stages of a war that spans across three kingdoms, including hers. Taken in by a ragtag group of wannabe heroes, thieves, assassins and a starving artist, Rina and her newfound friends find themselves helping the High Queen in an attempt to prevent the Second Great War.

Join Rina and her newfound friends as they battle to find the truth and hopefully prevent a War in the process. Bonds will be formed and broken, hearts shattered and mended, and the path to success will be paved with blood and bone.

53 parts Complete Mature
The kingdoms of Caedland and Saroviya have been at war for centuries, and a darkness has spread across the Northern Lands. In the east, Saroviya has been crippled by fighting on multiple fronts, while Caedland still reels from the murder of its queen's consort and the disappearance of its princess nearly two decades ago. Now, in the war-torn lands between the two kingdoms, a new threat has emerged, an unnatural disease that specifically targets the witches who fight for both kingdoms. In Caedland, a new draft means that young witch Judith Craven must report to the kingdom's capital to join the New Army and begin her training in the military arts. There, however, she soon discovers that her power is not as it seems-and neither is her heritage. Meanwhile, in Saroviya, the king's personal Healer, Alina Kalinin, finds herself sucked into a dangerous political landscape when she is assigned by the leader of the Order of Mages to create a cure for the mysterious new disease that has appeared on her kingdom's border. Even as Judith grapples with awful power and Alina struggles to understand a disease whose origins she soon comes to suspect aren't natural, a group of criminals in the neutral kingdom of Rijkelund set out to steal a sacred artifact from the Saroviyan embassy. But, as they embark on a seemingly-impossible mission, they soon discover that all is not as it may seem, and both Saroviya and Caedland are playing a very different game than it may seem from the outside.

One day he can create as much gold as he wants. One day he can build an army of metal soldiers that no kingdom could stand against. But 'one day' isn't good enough. Not when a mysterious enemy calling itself 'The Syndicate' threatens the city he is dutybound to protect. The enemy pulls all the strings. They hold all the cards. They are as uncatchable as smoke and as unstoppable as an avalanche. Connor's only real allies are a mysterious female assassin with violet eyes whose face he's never seen, and a spy buried deep in enemy territory whose cover might be blown.
