Edd and Matt were having a rough time, for their old friend Tord has left! Edd especially was having a rough time.

However, one late night he came across an odd thing, a monstrous creature who was gravely wounded. Instead of leaving it for dead, he takes it home, and decides it would be a new companion. Though there may be more to this thing than meets the eye. And their new friend may have quite the number of challenges coming with it.
