Trafalgar Law is a young surgeon who has carefully avoided getting too close to anyone to protect himself from his own dark past. This plan worked well, until a chance meeting with a young fireman named Monkey D. Luffy has him abandoning reason and dignity for a chance to bask in sunlight.
He just hopes he made the right decision.

This story has a happy ending but DOES explore trauma and other potentially triggering themes. It does NOT include any major character deaths, except where they are a part of a character's backstory or past. It is a reimagining of One Piece content and backstories, with some significant changes but as much effort taken as possible to honor original character portrayals. If you have not seen Wano, this won't spoil anything other than the introduction of characters you may not have seen yet, portrayed in entirely different contexts. Use your best judgement about whether you can read it yet or not!

You receive some bad news which results in you getting a computer with a virtual reality system leading to some new friends and romance. This is a slow moving fanfiction with our favourite Surgeon of Death. When I mean slow moving I mean they do not meet until chapter 5. There is also gonna be some darker themes along the line.
