Allyson is a mermaid with a dream. To be part of the army that protects the others from Dragons and Harm. But in her world the girls are expected to care for the children while the men have to harder jobs. Her father calls her shameful for dreaming and practicing of the Army than attending her Child Caring classes. But she is determined to make it into the Army, but then it happens. She meets and talks to the dragon face to face and her thoughts change and wants to help the dragon instead of harming it.
