Ever since a huge war took out most of her pack and family, leaving her all alone. Skye has been keeping her head down for a while, living a quiet life in a human town but doesn't feel like she belongs. There is only one thing that is keeping her and her wolf, Nyla from losing it and that is the thought of their mate.

Valentine's Day is supposed to be a celebration due to her birthday being on the same day. Skye decides to go to the fair, with Nyla her wolf telling her she needs some fun. A luring scent lingers when she gets there which leads to a handsome wolf who works there-Theo. 

Theo has been a rogue, living with the fair family and his brother, but he has longed for his mate, and the first night there in the small town he went into the bar he knew he found her and now with the most romantic night of the year lingering what better way to claim her than on the night of love.
