Life in the K-pop industry is not easy for 18-year-old Korean-American Rose Cho. After the exposure of a fraud scandal cancelling her debut, Rose gets a second chance at stardom after her label Taurus Entertainment gets acquired by KASE Corporation, the current top entertainment label in the industry. However, her group gets negative attention when she gets accused of copying the looks of popular female idol Park Young-ji. 

Kim Woo-seok is the center, visual and most popular member of boy group F9. Despite the group's success, the members are still haunted by the sudden departure of member Kang E-chan pre-debut, who carries a big secret. Woo-seok crosses paths with Rose on numerous occasions, and the two grow closer, much to the dismay of LR Entertainment trainee and Rose's close friend Jung Ho-bin.
