From the moment I'd lock eyes you
Through undertones of gray and dark brown
I knew I'd love you forever more.
This is a special piece of writing, I hold very dear to my heart. Having to love and lose a beautiful companion, who's soul purpose is to cherish you, is agonizing. It's crazy how eight years seem to pass by in a matter of seconds. To my dog, I wish to keep your memory alive with these words.

It's hard when you miss people, but, you know, if you miss them it means you were lucky, it means you had someone special in your life, someone worth missing. I had someone like that once, someone I adored with every fiber in my body she meant more to me than anybody else would. She was my rock, my world, my heart in the shape of a person. I had her my whole life, I have known her forever and just like that she was here yesterday and gone today. I am left with thousand moments that I had taken for granted, mostly because I had assumed there would be thousand more.
