Lucy Chen is a police officer in the NYPD. When she goes on an undercover assignment with Sergeant Tim Bradford sparks fly and everything that could go wrong, does go wrong.
How will Tim and Lucy react when they realise their feelings for each other?

I missed these two so wanted to write a little fanfic beginning after the series 4 finale. The story moves kinda quickly and I added a lot of action in terms of police cases and also their relationship. But don't worry this book will have a happy ending for Chenford. It won't be smooth sailing for them though ;)

This is what I imagine (want) to happen straight after season 6 ended (Aaron is still in the story despite him having confirmed he won't be in season 7), focus on Chenford, slow burn. The Oscar/Jason storyline is incorporated from season 6 but not Monica. Lucy sets out to prove herself again as a good cop after her disaster with the detective's exam. Will the awkwardness between Chenford be resolved? Or will it all come to a head? Disclaimer - I have stayed true to each character's mannerisms in the show, so if you're looking for a story where Tim calls Lucy his pookie princess and is overly gushy, you won't find that here.
