☽✧ Lost In Prythian ✧☾ {Rhysand x OC} by LadyLumy
24 parts Ongoing Mature
Estelle Beaumont just wanted a peaceful hike on her last day of vacation. Instead, one ill-starred moment of curiosity leaves her miraculously stranded in the fictional world of Prythian--a faerie realm full of ruthless court drama, rampant misogyny, and enough deadly magic to keep anyone up at night. Armed with foreknowledge that's only helpful when it isn't actively trying to get her killed, Estelle quickly discovers that living through the story of ACOTAR is far less fun and far more perilous when it's her own basic-ass, untrained mortal life on the line. Her plan is simple: keep her hands off of the plot and survive long enough to find a way back to the family and love she left behind. But the so-called "Mother" clearly has other plans for Estelle, forcing her to confront an unsettling truth--that her role here in Prythian might be far greater than that of a passive observer. As Estelle reluctantly abandons her original plan, uneasy alliances form, old wounds reopen, and fractured trust begins to mend. Love, loss, and scars of the past converge as Estelle slowly starts to see that the family she thought she'd lost might take a new shape, and that the life she left behind might be the only reason she's prepared for the fight ahead. But the cost of shaping Prythian's future--and her own--might be greater than she can bear. After all, it's a future that was never meant to be hers to begin with. And this is all that damned Cauldron's fault... ☆⊱──────⊰ ☽✧☾ ⊱──────⊰☆ A/N: This fanfiction is purely self-indulgent. If you don't like self-insert/iseki like tropes were an original character who read the books ends up in the fictional world as the new main character, you might want to skip this. Somethings will stay very familiar, others will diverge completely, and I plan to add extra world building along the way. Slowburn romance.
The King's Courtier by thekingscourtierbook
15 parts Ongoing
This story is a romantic fantasy set in the future. Keep in mind each chapter is 10 page long. In the year 2200, the world is no longer ruled by presidents or individual governments. The entire globe is ruled by a single immortal king - King Sulfur. Continents are now "categories" separating people in terms of talent. Aurelia, the protagonist, is apart of the beauty category. Although Elexia is a world in which everyone is satisfied, those in the beauty and slavery categories still face oppression. Those in her category are to become escorts and prostitutes when they're of age, not given an alternative choice in contrast to those in every other category. Aurelia was born to become the king's personal escort despite her impeccable talents in each category and when she was taken to the castle, she kept true to herself and held on to her sharp tongue. She soon realized that the castle hides many secrets. She was met with the anonymous eight who were King Sulfur's closest friends. No one knew their true purpose and looks beyond the castle's court because the castle's magic would erase everyone who stepped out's memory of them. The two strongest of the eight turn out to be the main love interests of Aurelia. While she tries to resolve her unrequited feelings for a man she formerly despised, she realizes that she has grown attached to the king. She simultaneously wrestles feelings for her old best friend and tries to discover with whom her heart truly lies. TW: oppression, sexism, vulgar language and scenes. Mature content and intimate scenes present.

He listened patiently to her whispered confidences, the echoes of a childhood far removed from his own sheltered existence. Their bond deepened subtly, a slow dance of shared secrets and stolen glances amidst the formality of balls and courtly intrigues. Magnus's unwavering optimism was a beacon in Aurelia's often-turbulent world, while her strength and resilience challenged him to look beyond the superficial charm of courtly life. He learned to decipher her silences, the subtle nuances of her aristocratic demeanor, the quiet ways she expressed her affection. She, in turn, learned to trust, to lower her defenses, to embrace the warmth of genuine connection in a world where alliances were often forged in self-interest. became a whispered legend within the court, a testament to the power of genuine connection, a love story woven from the contrasting threads of hardship and privilege, vulnerability and strength, a love born not of arranged marriages or political expediency, but of shared experiences, mutual respect, and a profound understanding of each other's souls.
