She felt the gun press into her back. She couldn't help but sigh. She was a fool to believe that she could get through a single day in Gotham without someone happening.
"Give me all your money!" The man yelled from behind her.
"A mugging... again, " she muttered annoyed, this was the 7th one this week.
"Are you fucking stupid! Money now!" The man yelled, getting impatient.
He hadn't hit her yet, better manners than the last mugger. She reached into her purse for her money. Her life wasn't worth protecting the small amount of chash she carried. Her brother could be upset all he wanted over replacing the debit cards.
Before she could hand it over, she heard fighting. By the time she turned around, she saw a man dressed like a bat standing over the would-be mugger. He left just as quickly as he came, leaving her surprised.
"That's new... when did Gotham get a... Batman.. yea, that name fits, " she muttered to herself, a habit she picked up from being alone so often.
Not many friends to be made from always getting into trouble with this luck of hers. Harvey would always joke it was because she was a Wayne, but that didn't make sense for her brother Bruce. He always seemed to have the good luck.
"Get it together, Hope, get home before something else happens," she muttered to herself, continuing on towards her car.

So, she enlisted the help of Gotham's most notorious criminal of all: the Joker. All she asked was that she help him with his missions so she would be associated with a bigger name. To her wonder, he accepted this proposal, and their deal was made. But, when one mission didn't go as planned, Joker almost entirely blamed (Y/N). He saw her as a liability now, not an aid. But, something prevented him from immediately punishing her with a shot between the eyes. Bruce Wayne knows of you but you don't know him till he talks to you in one of his charity events. I started writing my first fanfic story because I read a lot of fan fiction were the reader is "batmom" usually the storyline is about how she was this amazing hero who fights with the batfamily. Of course different artists have their own unique batmom. But somehow all of the batmoms that I have read didn't really have what I wanted so it just inspired me to write my own batmom. But as he cleans up the streets of Gotham his way, he gets the ire of one Dark Knight and Company. Well, maybe everyone of the Bat Family. Except one. Barbara Gordon. Whose been following the gunmans career with great interest. But Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne and Alfred are wondering if there's another reason why she's following his career. Finally one night he was hot on the trail of Rupert Thorne and had him cornered in a high class estate in the hills. The Dark Knight and The Gunslinging Lawdog have their first encounter. But the Batman brought along his long time protege, Batgirl. After a close call with The Dark Knight, the gunslinger runs after giving a good bone breaking kick to Batmas knee. But leaves behind some blood from the fight and a matchbook with his fingerprints all over it. And who should pick up the matchbook and swabbed the small droplet of blood than Batgirl at the behest of Batman. The only trick is he asked for the blood. Not the matchbook. Now there are a few questions that are bound come up, One. Will this new city anti-hero join the Bat Family or will he be on Batman's most wanted list? And Two. Dan is hungry, cold and fascinated with the girl that broke into his apartment on a Thursday night. The cheese dust on his tongue sat sour, he could not be sure that this intruder was not related to their loud blaring earlier in the night. He swallowed the uncertainty. The intruder spoke first and they were not even polite about it. "Do you plan on finishing those chips or can I get some to go?" The voice had a noticeable soprano lilt to it, still, she sounded rough. Regardless, Dan frowned at her tone. That and the flutter of his heart as it recognized her voice. Dan's little sister had a habit of critiquing him, not always in a constructive way either. One thing she usually mentioned that she envied was his ability to recall details well; in her words, he 'majored on the minor but it only benefitted him'. Wayne, the future king of England, unlike other men, was merely intrigued by this rare beauty with a spitfire mouth and decides to tame her into the most obedient wife ever...and maybe get passionate with her..... She was allowed to stay in the manor of course but Y/n decided it was best for her to get a small apartment, so she did. Y/n had soon turned nineteen, and she went into training to become a skilled detective for the GCPD. And she hasnt had Any contact with Bruce Wayne even since she arrived at gotham. The only one she talked to was alfred. Bruce of course didnt know that his parents friend had a child. But when he heard the knews. He was most definitely shocked. This girl was also older than him by 11 months. Basically a year. Soon.. the two meet under dire circumstances, her father is dying, and bruce has to help her adapt and overcome. Both of them training in the process under Ras Al' Ghul. Back to Gotham. As friends, maybe more. Bruce's death has torn the Bat Family apart, leaving the boy alone with Alfred Pennyworth. He never expected to enjoy the manservants company but he would prefer his family to be with him too. They are rarely at the manor anymore, mostly because it felt empty without Bruce there. One night, the boy wonder crosses paths with a thief that he has ran into once before. He never got her name and never bothered to look into it. The last time he's seen her, his father was still alive. The last time he's seen her, she was stealing something small. What happens when he finds out that this thief is one no other than the daughter of Harley Quinn and the Joker? What makes the girl so special? (I do not own the characters in the book.
