POSSIBLE CW/TW: Racism, homophobia, and violence

A 19-year-old protagonist, Kieran, finds himself in Hawkins, Indiana, after his parents' divorce, leaving behind New York City. With a bleak outlook on his new surroundings, he reluctantly interacts with his neighbor, Eddie, whom he initially dismisses. However, a chance encounter leads to a hesitant conversation and an invitation from Eddie to explore the town together. Despite Kieran's initial reservations, he agrees, opening the door to potential friendship and a new perspective on his new home.

**Wanna Preface this by saying Kieran is half Mexican and will experience some racist remarks and violence due to his race. Kieran also has vitiligo on his head and has a white streak of hair. His hair is brown and his eyes are green.**
