If he hadn't been that furious, he would have used his flames to fry me, but he was literally so rage tormented that he couldn't think. He was shaking madly as he raised a fist to punch me. I could see a torrent of fire washing over his back as Lissette tried to burn him, but if it had any effect, he didn't show it.
 
As his fist began to fall, towards my face where I lay on the floor, time seemed to slow. No, it didn't slow. That's not right. Everything was still moving at the same speed, the flames roaring, Lissette screaming, Phaerun grimacing at me with a terrifying mask of anger.
 
But, I seemed to be able to move faster than all of them.
 
My hand flew out and snatched Phaerun's fist just before it could hit my clenched jaw. His face twisted in surprise, the flames flickered, I groaned in pain as my body ached from where it fell.
 
And then, for the first time, I shoved Phaerun off me.
 
He landed with a thump, too bewildered to fight me. He had always being stronger than me, that was just a fact. Now that I had actually managed to get him off me, Phaerun didn't know what to do, what had happened.
 
I climbed to my knee's and tilted my head to the side to where he lay. I looked at him for a second, then reached out and punched him with all my strength.All Rights Reserved

It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance. "Who are you?" I demand. The boy in front of me replies, "That's not how this works, love." I freeze. That phrase. That voice. It can't be. I look up but he's just a cloaked silhouette. The rustling stops when boys surrounding us step from their hiding spots and light lanterns. Every single one of them masked and cloaked. Except the one in front of me. The lamps lit, and I see his face. "Whoa," slips from my lips as I stare at the boy in front of me. His eyes widen and his jaw almost, just almost, drops. With his guard down for that one instant I lose all fear and gain control. "You!" I yell suddenly overflowing with anger. My stomach heats with rage. I fight to stand, stronger this time with anger as fuel. He backs up, his breath increasing. Obviously, uneasy, I take it as a win and almost stand all the way. "You. What are you doing here? How did you find this place!" He switched to angry. "You! You're the reason! They put me back because of you! It was all cause of you! It was your fault! All of it!" I'm so angry I yell only what I can. My thoughts flying through my head I can only yell unexplained nonsense. I've never felt anger like this before. The red glow lightly pours off my own skin and I take notice to it. I compare it to the glow coming off of him. Suddenly, it's an instinct to allow the anger to explode and in doing so the red glow is taken from his chest as I absorb it all and throw it out in all directions. I yank down away from the boy holding me just as the red glow gets sucked from him, absorbed into my hands, and then thrown out in a sphere of red glow. All boys stumbling but not by much and the one holding me gets knocked back, I'm free. "You die now, Peter Pan!"

Drake started getting off the bed. When I saw he about to go to the door, something finally woke up in me and I grabbed his shirt to stop him. "W-w-what are y-you doing?" I asked, finally speaking. "I'm going to kill him. He should have never put his hands on you," Drake explained with so much hate in his voice. "Drake, p-please," I begged, holding his shirt in a harder grip. "I'm just suppose to accept this?!" he asked. He was so angry, his eyes sparkled. I fell to the floor, still holding his shirt, I started crying. "Please Drake. Please j-just stay with me," I begged harder, feeling the waterworks going down my cheeks. Drake face lighten up and he looked sorry for me. He helped me up and set me on the bed. He lied my head on his chest. "Okay Alice. I'll stay with you," he told me.

I hear a footstep to the right of me. I turn to face the right but nothing's there. Vampire. I feel like something is coming up from behind me. I spin and slice at whatever's coming at me. I slice at the vampire again but he's gone. Arms enclose from behind me. I try to wriggle from his grip. I bring up my elbow to his nose then his stomach. He falls back but re gains his balance. Suddenly he's disappeared. I walk down the ally way. My boots make a gentle clicking noise against the concrete. I swear underneath my breath. I go to turn but Area is flown out of my hand. I foot stomps on my stomach. I'm shoved to the wall. He takes Ares from the ground and walks towards me.

He roughly picks me up and drags me to the room. He yanked me away from him making me fall hit my knee on the hard wood floor. He walked in the bathroom to get something and I realized it something to put me to sleep. He poured the chemical into the towel as he mumbled to himself and I watched in fear. He pulled me from the ground and tried to make me breathe in. I fought the urge to. I thrashed back and forth trying to get free but nothing worked. Slowly, my vision got blurry and felt darkness overtake me.
