CHAPTER ONE
I can’t believe it’s today. I get to meet him in person. I’ve been a big fan of Ian Somerhalder for a very long time. He is so unbelievably beautiful and I can’t wait to look into his grey eyes. He is doing a Vampire Diaries Convention and I’m getting a personal picture and an autograph. I look into the mirror and decide to wear my hair down in curls. I’m wearing a white blouse with a plunging neckline and a short black pencil skirt. I quickly slip into my designer black high heels and grab my purse and head for the door.
I’m driving to the hotel, trying to beat the Dallas traffic. My phone rings and I can see it’s my sister.
“Hey sis how’s it going?” I ask knowing full well she’s going to lecture me again about going to the convention.
“I guess you are on your way to the hotel now?” She asks I can almost feel her smirk beyond the phone.
“Yep, I told you I’m only going to get a picture and an autograph and come back home. I’m not planning on staying for the questions or to mingle with all the fans.” I say explaining.
She breathes into the phone, “you are not a teenager Eliana, you are twenty years old and you are acting like such a fan girl.” She says.
I roll my eyes, “I know I’m not a teenager, but what’s wrong with admiring someone and wanting to meet that someone in person?” I ask.
“Ok I’m not going to bust your fan girl bubble.” She giggles.
“Gee thanks sis, I’ll call you later and tell you how it went.” I say.
“Have fun and be careful.” She says and hangs up.

I walked on the nearly empty bus in New York City, which was very rare. It was the middle of the night and this was the last train going around the tracks. It was only me in the car for a few stops. I was hiding my face with a hoodie. I had my headphones in when he walked in. I looked up and our eyes met. He looked familiar and I quickly looked away. He's probably a fan and followed me. I just wanted to be with them so badly, but I couldn't, no, someone had paid for an extra year, and they wouldn't allow me to call home. After five months of being there, I came up with a plan to escape, but with no money, or any funds, I had to stay the year. Fortunately for me, nobody paid for a third year, and I was free. In the year I was there, I was able to get a job within the camp, and got paid 5$ an hour, and I accumulated enough for a transport back home. Mystic Falls. Oh how I missed the sweet smell of flowers in spring, and chipper wood in the winter. When I got back I thought I'd be greeted by my family hugging me, and telling me how sorry they felt, or how much mom missed me, and loved all of us, but instead I was met by an unwelcoming sister, and unwelcoming setting. Just when I thought nothing else could go wrong, my whole world seemed to just take a dump on me, and make it worse... _________________ New story because sadly UB is near its ending. :( but, on the good side, I'll keep this one to its plot, and not drift off. :) So enjoy. "I went by the school and I got us enrolled so we're all good," I said going over and sitting down on his bed putting my legs under me. "Thanks, but I told you, you don't have to stay here with me," Stefan said leaning against the door frame.
