The Summer I became Famous

Dakota Nikola preferred to stay out of the spotlight, a wallflower through and through. He liked the warm comfort of a book over a person. His younger sister, however, was someone who loved being the center of attention. She always told Dakota that she'd be famous one day.

One May, she was named the winner of a competition that let her spend one summer with her favorite actor, Ryan Chaplain -- a teen heartthrob who played the lead in a teen fantasy series. The only problem was that their parents worked too much and could not take time off to take her. So, the only reasonable option was to have Dakota go in their stead and watch over her.

Little did Dakota know that this summer would change everything.
