After living away from his superhero life, forbidden to ever be involved in such a dangerous place, things change ever so suddenly on her 19th birthday. After a big fight with her father, she makes him agree to let her help the Avengers, but with three ground rules. • Excessive training so she will always be prepared • No missions until she is qualified by him • No romantic involvements with any members of the team She of course agreed on everything, finding silly that he would even think she would want an avenger, since everybody was so nuch older than her, except for Peter of course, but he is her best friend, so he doesn't count. After moving in the Avengers tower, her life changes. But nothing really big is assigned to her for the first 4 months. Until Steve Rogers talks about recruiting an old friend of his. Bucky Barnes is an ex-assasin, mind controlled by HYDRA for years and finally saved by the avengers , who thought they put an end to his misery. Nightmares and paranoia, won't even let him step out of the house which makes him exist more as an entity than a person. When his good friend from the past offers him a job for the avengers, he never thinks he will take it. Until he realises work may be the only thing he truly needs to get back to his old life, if that is even possible. When they meet they both come to the conclusion that they will never get along. The curtain around the hospital bed slides open to reveal an African American man with warm eyes. He walks in with an easy smile and a white man steps in just behind him with dark blue eyes and near black brown waves that fall to his shoulders. The man behind him catches my eye, his eyes a bright blue with a crown of golden hair. Our eyes meet and his crystal blue ones widen. Déjà vu hits me like a truck and my mind bounces back to a fuzzy night a couple of months ago full of hard liquor. While I can't remember many things from that night, I do remember those blue eyes vividly. My lips pop open and a blush tints my cheeks as well as his. She's isolated herself, but since life is relatively shit, trouble still manages to find her. But they became the best of the best at SHIELD, well, besides Romanoff and Barton of course. Them being so good having an opportunity of joining the mightiest of them all. But joining that team made her reunite with the father that never wanted her. Will Veronica come to amends with her father? Will she get over her abuse of alcohol? Will she stop slutting around New York? Will she reunite with her long lost love? Or will she crash and burn into the failure she always seemed to feel like? She hated him with everything she had. He had betrayed her, and in doing so, she was stripped of her title, and banished to another realm. She had spent years, trying to find a way back, to exact her revenge, and luck came in, seeing the news about Lokis attack on the city. She wanted him to feel how she felt, to strip him of everything important to him, starting with his new family, the so called 'heroes', and then return to Asgard, and drive her blade through Odins chest. Her life takes a complete turn, when she finds herself taken after the battle. ***** When he had returned to Midgard, Earth a few years later, with a reformed Loki, he finds that she had been missing and presumed dead almost as long as he had been gone. When the Avengers hit a Hydra base, to get back the scepter, they come across a room, where someone is bound, from the ceiling. Rescuing the fraile figure, they return to the jet victorious, only to find their rescue, is none other than Ana. She was barely conscious, and from clear signs, she was not there willingly. Taking her back to the tower, they try to help her, only to find that she has no memory of them, and now holding her own power. Thor wants nothing more than to destroy every single person who had hurt her, his need to protect her burning within him. The only comfort she finds is in his brother and the metal armed soldier, needing them both to protect her. ***** Being in a new place, surrounded by so many people, she felt overwhelmed, terrified that they would hurt her like the others. She feels her wrists are now free, and that power within her, was now accessible again.
