The Takeaway SMP was a improvised lore-based SMP which existed from February 2021 until February 2022. It was seriously one of the best things I've ever been a part of and after making a movie-style recap series, I've decided along with ZombieDwarf to write this up in a more detailed novel! Tommy and Tubbo were sick and tired of hearing non stop about the disappearances. The two brothers wanted them to be found just so people would shut up about it, that was until scientists finally figured out what happened and how to get them out. each of the missing streamers were stuck in the world, their bodies now part of the game. The only way for them to get out was to either beat the game or find some sort of loop hole, their only problem? Dream had destroyed the end portals that were within 1000's of blocks a month before the disappearances and if they died? Game. Over. Scientists developed a new VR like device, they only made 3. With those 3 they needed volunteers but nobody seemed to want to risk it. Tommy decieded to do it for fun and drag Tubbo with him. Can Tommy and Tubbo and one other help Dream and everybody else escape the SMP? Or will somebody else on the inside stop them from beating the game and kill them. Dream has created a new SMP, the First Try SMP. It's a complete and raw experience. They all have tons of fun and leave when the session's over. Or, they TRY to leave.
