Spirit of Wildfire Book 1 - Her Blood Promise

This is a Paranormal Adventure Romance about a young woman, a mixed blood chimera shifter who has spent the last years on the run to save not herself, but to protect the last living legacy of her family, the child of her cousin, a sweet half human half mirage shifter girl. There are dark forces hunting them, and many, including their own kin have fallen, and bodies will keep dropping like flies unless the plague that is the dark illusionists are stopped. Jara's one goal is to stay alive and to keep her ward safe, little does she expect the route her life will take when she stumbles into the arms of the one person who might just be able to stop the darkness hunting all illusion casters and shifters, even if he himself does not yet know it.
Can they change the fate of their race, can Jara accept the scar she must bear for all to see, or is survival enough and for how long?
