This story is inspired by the events that took place in Gander, Newfoundland in the days following 9/11. After the 9/11 attacks, all airplanes that were still flying were ordered to land immediately. Since Gander, Newfoundland has one of the biggest but least used airports in the world, 38 planes landed in the town, nearly doubling the town's population. Thousands of people were now stranded in Gander, having no idea when they would be able to leave. Some of the people were stuck on their planes for over 24 hours.
The events in this story are based on the Broadway musical, "Come From Away." Please note that none of the characters were real people, but the story is completely based on true events.
Planning on writing more short stories to add to this, or making one longer sequel that is from one specific character's perspective (:

September 11, 2001 began as an ordinary, late-summer day. As the sun rose, fair weather and blue skies prevailed over much of the country and thousands of commercial airliners prepared for flight. But, in less than two hours' time, this seemingly routine day was transformed when 19 terrorists boarded and hijacked four commercial airplanes to attack America. Nearly 3,000 people were killed when the hijacked planes were flown into the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon near Washington, DC, and when United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in the Pennsylvania countryside outside of Shanksville, PA. Flight 93 did not arrive at the hijackers' intended target - the Nation's Capital - because of the selfless and courageous actions of the 40 passenger and crew members on board. "We're going to do something," passenger Tom Burnett told his wife that morning, the last words she ever heard him speak. They did. This is their story. After an incident caused by his depression, a renowned worker in the adult entertainment industry, Romero Porcupine, decides that a change of scenery would be a nice decision for himself. So, he decides to go and move to what he's told is a nice, quiet town. Everything seems to be going great. The townsfolk seem nice. The scenery is amazing. It's not too far from the city, and the best part, nobody seems to know who he is. And, I mean, who wouldn't LOVE to live in a house right next to the woods in a town that is said to have a "Wolf Problem" (whatever that means,) AM I RIGHT??? No but seriously, with everything he does, he seems to dig himself into an even bigger hole that he can't get out of, and it gets to the point that keeping his job a secret is the least of his worries as of right now. On top of all that, he now needs to try and figure out how to process some new... information... he ends up getting about the world he lives in. Although, just maybe, he can find someone in this town to confide in? Someone who seems like he can trust. Someone who seems a bit... familiar. Hope you guys enjoy the book!!! (Side note: I know I don't usually post this type of stuff, as, if you could not already tell this is supposed to be SMUT. DETAILED, (mostly) GAY SMUT.
