It's been fifteen years. 
Fifteen years since the rebellion. 
Fifteen years since Panem fell. 
 Fifteen years since Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark disappeared. 
And it would be another  fifteen years before the unimaginable happened. 

After the rebellion of Katniss Everdeen Panem lost power over the 13 districts, making the capital fall. 
Everyone thought that after the rebels won, everyone lived happily ever after. 

They were wrong. 

After another long fifteen years Panem regained power. Wanting a change, they took over South America, naming this place New Panem, which everyone called NP. 

In order to honor Old Panem they brought back the thing that all the people of the New Districts feared, and only heard about in books and stories. 

The Hunger Games. 

A fight where one boy and one girl, called tributes, from each district will be put into an arena and fight to the death. 
There will be one victor. 

One little girls life would change forever, no thanks to The New Games.

Primrose died ending the Mellarks. The thirteen districts plus the Capitol, newly named District 14, which is the mutt industry district now, have to face the consequences. The thirteen districts have to provide, every year, a young man and a young woman, between the age of 11-19 to fight in the Games. District 14 has to care and tend to the tributes before the Games.
