Captain Nicholas "Nomad" Howley was just starting a long vacation until he was suddenly snapped out of his reality and thrown into another. This story follows Nomad as he adjusts and tries to understand the new world he'll eventually call home.

There was a boy who lived in a world, living a life similar to many of those around him. However an almost comical event makes it so he winds up being sent across the multiverse, inhabiting the role of the Protagonist of a Game he's already played before. This is, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. It's far from a world filled with sunshine and rainbows like your average Isekai adventure, no, this is a world that has and still is experiencing its apocalypse. A world where humanity has already lost once before and are fighting a losing battle against an enemy that outmatches them. However, there is him. A Commander whose first mission went awry, here to do what he does best. It's fortunate that he understands the situation to a suspicious degree to ensure this world does not fall.
The Commander Who Didn't Give a shit
This is a story about a game called "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE" highly recommend it. Tried it, and now it's my favourite game. So, I shall be hopping into it! The setting is as follows: *Ehem* post apocalyptic world, women turned into cyborgs, a single Commander tasked with saving humanity. It has everything you could ever hope to expect from such a story- Eeexcept. This one Commander, the one who's supposed to be the upstanding citizen who does no wrong, the infallible hero who snatches victory from the jaws of defeat?... He's really just a shit talking bastard named Zero... Ah and speaking of shits... He has absolutely none to give really... Aaand yet despite that all, he seems to be the only one that's been able to make any sort of headway against the enemy that's been fought for over a dam century. Gee. I wonder why? Perhaps it's because of the fact that he doesn't give a shit about anything that allows him to disregard all the social and political fluff of this world and... just treat his team like people. Now ain't that some shit?

When Earth had been invaded in an instant, the powers that be selected very few individuals who would one day defend the Earth in the far future and become the Hope of Humanity. Their plan, however, hadn't taken into account a different kind of threat, where the rest of humanity had to fight to survive on their own without these so-called "Hope of Humanity." Instead, the last of humanity created tough fighting machines known as Nikkes, who were the ones who truly became humanity's hope. Since the initial invasion, one of those Hopes has been awakened and brought into the Ark; a surviving underground civilization, where the remaining humans wait for the day they'd reclaim the surface.

Humanity once stood on the top of the world. They ruled the planet with an iron grip. Their rise in technology, industry, engineering, and science were quickly growing. However, an invasion on a worldwide scale had occurred in late 2023. Though there were initial successes in repelling these unknown, mechanical entities. They would eventually start to gain ground through quick adoption of newer variants of their beings and adjusting to counter common military tactics. However, more was needed, so came the introduction of Nikkes, an experimental female soldier that would be the first cybernetic frontline soldier. Even though there were attempts of converting males to such a task, they would become unsuccessful, as it was found out that males were more susceptible to cognitive dissonance and suicide. And so, females ranging from 18 to 30 years of age would remain the main source of Nikkes. As the war raged on, more variants of Nikkes would reinforce or replace the quickly diminishing forces of the world. There would be a significant breakthrough in the Nikkes, with the introduction of the Grimm models of Nikkes. Five Nikkes would be produced by a now defunct company. This squad would be called Goddess. They would be commanded by a special forces Captain Nicholas Miller, and through their first missions, they would further prove the effectiveness of specialized Nikkes and even push the Raptures back some. However, even their efforts would not be enough to stop the tithe of Raptures from encompassing Europe. After many years of fighting, there was one last desperate defense of a structure known as the Ark. Unfortunately, humanity would end up underground where they would spend the next 5 centuries fighting the raptures in smaller scale battles, skirmishes, and special operations. All while the fates of Goddess squad and the now legendary Captain Nicholas Miller had remained a mystery.Complete
The Average Commander (NIKKE: Goddess of Victory X OC)
A guy with average looks overall that was placed in a apocalyptic war full of scrap metal robots to take back the surface leading a group of armed robot ladies. Or are they androids? Well they're mechanical so they might be robots. For an average guy, he's more than capable being some random mob. Question is would he be strong enough to protect them not to make the same mistake again. I do not own the story of NIKKE but my main character.
An "Ordinary" Commander
Many Nikkes have grown accustomed to being treated without basic courtesy and dignity. However, a young man from the Outer Rim recently became a commander and arrived with a unique approach for the Nikkes. How their minds will fare in the grand scheme remains to be seen.
