God's Perfect Proposition

Alana James, a 27 year old African American medical student by day and bottle girl by night has always been a people pleaser, fearing the perception of others. Chasing her dreams of becoming an OBGYN at Johns Hopkins University was not what her parents (well, her dad and stepmom) had in mind. She felt it was her destiny to pursue medicine and go back to her childhood residence PG County Maryland; her mother gave birth to her there and died shortly after. She feels it's her destiny to do this for her birth mother. Although vowing to kill the fear of being perceived by others, she unfortunately succumbs once more when her half sister Nia insists she brings a date to her wedding. In comes her estranged childhood friend, the suave boxing champ Miguel who frequently flirts with her at the club she works at. She offers him a proposition- be her fake boyfriend at the wedding. What happens when they make plans but God's plan is the greatest?
