Sheppard Sanchez, doctor, journalist, and practically suicidal genius decided to go where no doctor dared to go, the war torn country of Kyrat.
Driven by the goal of finding her best friend Ajay who left for Kyrat 6 months ago to spread his mothers ashes she loads herself onto the small cargo plane and heads into the war zone.
She's soon met with the reality of war and has to learn to kill to survive after she's captured by the terrorist group ripping apart the country, The Golden Path.
After her escape she'd find herself in the palace of their reclusive king. Labeled a mad monster by the people of kyrat. Making an alliance with him, she finds herself torn between her best friends war and the king in her ear.
Her only goal in life was to help those in need, will Sheppard be able to live with herself, more importantly will she even survive such a far cry from home?
