But the past eventually always came back to haunt its victims.
When Sportsmaster breaks out of jail, Artemis' perfectly crafted life is at risk of falling apart when more of her background is revealed than she ever wanted it to be.

He manages to escape them, making his way to an abandoned building where, to his surprised, held Deathstroke. With the help of an enemy, Deathstroke nurses Robin back to health. When Robin is healed, through the weeks with Deathstroke, he finds comfort in him. Deathstroke, Sensing this, decides to help get Robin's strength back up. With Robin learning new things that Batman never taught him, Robin decides to stay with Deathstroke as a new apprentice, not realizing the mental damage he was doing to his old team. Dick Grayson and Wally West, or better known as Robin and Finch, are robbers with a seemingly random pattern and motive. But what happens when a Bat figures out it's not so random, and these teen-aged criminals are not as "bad" as they make themselves out to be? "Hazel." "What?" "My name." I swallowed hesitantly, afraid to shatter the silence between us anymore than I already had, "It's Hazel." The silence of the night made it seem as if someone breathing too loud could make the silence shatter into a million pieces. My voice was no exception, and I was terrified that if I spoke to loud, even one word, the it would shatter, along with everything in the room. The silence seemed to make my voice feel smaller than it was, so when I finally heard his footsteps again, it shocked me to hear how loud and distinctive each one was, as if the silence broke just for him. As if he ruled the silence. It's as if he didn't even view the silence as fragile, but a force that he had to over come.
