Cupcake Boy
"You. Have. A. Crush?" one of my best friends looked at me like I was some kind of an alien from outer space. The shock on her face made me regret telling this to her. I then gave her a sheepish smile but honestly, I despised that look on her face or on anybody's face. Hey! I'm a person too. Am I not allowed to have a crush?! "Oh shut up and let her finish!" I silently thanked my other best friend seated next to me. "What?! I thought she didn't have a heart and now look!" Willow replied blatantly. I gave her a look. "Soooo, what's his name?" She leaned forward. I could feel my cheeks heating up as I played with my fingers. "Okay come closer. I'm only going to whisper his name once." With that, the four of us leaned in together and once we did, I whispered his name as softly as possible. Once we pulled back, there was only silence in our group. I quickly looked down to avoid all the stares. Seconds later, Noah was the first to speak. "Alright. I mean I don't know him so I can't judge. He seems decent," he shrugged and smiled at me. The Best Kind of Betrayal
It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. Still. New chances are for new beginnings, right? Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.

"Ace Ford." Autumn's face retorted in disgust. "Every girl's 'dream guy'." Her fingers made quotation marks. "Let me just tell you Jane, that boy is disgusting." Ace leaned against the railing of the bleachers. He pushed his dark brown hair back and smirked as he talked to one of the blonde cheerleaders. "How so?" I questioned, turning back towards her. She raised an eyebrow. "Just look at the guy, doesn't he just scream 'I won't have sex with you and immediately ditch you unless you have dubble D's and the IQ of a goldfish?'"
