Romance
Audrey used to be content with her quiet existence, but after one too many times of simply being known as "Jamie Cooper's best friend", she decides now is the time to break out on her own. Summer rolls around and it seems like the perfect time for change and so The Break Out List is born. This list is designed to bring Audrey out of her shell and with Jamie by her side the prospect of a never to be forgotten summer lies open at her feet, but in the blink of an eye all these plans come to nothing. Just as Audrey and Jamie are getting started Audrey's parents have other plans: Audrey is going to an anti-anxiety summer camp. Suddenly Audrey finds herself miles away from home and Jamie-less. The prospect of having to complete the list on her own is daunting but not long after arriving a familiar face shows up and quickly becomes her partner in crime but quickly things turn more complicated than she had anticipated. Will she make something of the summer after all, or will external forces land her right back to where she started? TRIGGER WARNING: Mild portrayals of anxiety

Do we truly know those we consider as our family? This is the last year before the beginning of the rest of Cara and Mia lives! Mia Carter still has one more year to spend on Angel Island before leaving, with her best friend, for Montreal to pursue their dream careers. The only problem is that she has to hold on without murdering her nemesis: Austin Coopler. At least, that's what she thought before Cara suddenly vanishes on the evening of the first day of school. No news, no leads, and even stranger, neither the police nor her family seem to care. But Mia is convinced that this disappearance is not a simple runaway case. Caught up in an investigation that goes beyond a mere disappearance, she has no choice but to cooperate with her archenemy and a group of friends who have known each other since childhood. TW - sensitive topics This story contains a lot of references to addiction (alcohol and drugs), and as the chapters progress, they will become more serious. Furthermore, the main character (Mia) suffers from diagnosed chronic anxiety, which I have portrayed to the best of my own experience. All characters, places, and events are fictional (products of my imagination only). Protected story.
