Violence had come to the Littlestone, Minnesota. The White Snake Renegades, the result of failed experiments of the notorious ExLife Corporation, had come to wreak havoc on that sleepy town, killing many people for their blood with various weapons. The US military had responded by deploying their troops to that town, but it was no use at all.
But, someone came to help those snakes satisfy their craving for blood. And that someone is Peñón Valencia of the Philippines, a college student. Seeing their brutal nature, he concluded that they are victims of their minds and decided to be their target for bloodshed after finding that he has an ability that allows him not to face his fate upon death and survive.
But then, he's not alone. 4 of his friends in town also have that ability, too. Together, they formed a private club known as the Grey Cloud Group, a club dedicated to helping the White Snake Renegades satisfy their bloodthirsty nature.
But, a secret linking to the ExLife Corporation had tested their newly made friendship with the White Snake Renegades.

Only very few can resist it. This story takes place fifty years after the governments of the world created the Darwin Initiative. An idea that allows for students to kill each other. But in the 50th year, the year this story is set, teachers can now kill students and vice versa. At the end of a year, the teams must elect their best player to fight in a battle Royale against other team representatives. The battle Royale lasts for up to five days. The survivors may graduate or pass to the next year, if they do not survive; the rest of the team will be held back. But some players, may go lone wolf. Follow Jason Walker, a young talented writer whom has advanced skill with any knife, and his comrades in their journey through the eight grade. This group's name is the Joking Corpses. The JC contain three of the best fighters in the nation. Mia Fall, an Apex Predator, Jason Walker, a Clawed Predator, And Kai Gracefield, a Wolf in sheep's clothing. The JC go through the year, encountering fewer allies than foes. Each of these foes seem to put the fear of death, into Jason and his team. Rules of the DI: 1.
